Caroline studied Catering and Food and Beverage Service while at Lincoln College. She said her favourite thing about her time at College was “the practical cookery classes and college restaurant evenings. I also loved living away from home with young people in Lincoln and learning about the numerous opportunities to work anywhere in the world once I was qualified . The staff encouragement to go abroad and work also lead to many happy working years in Switzerland, America and France”.
“My fondest memories of my time at College are the fun times filled with much laughter with friends when trying to put on professional catered events with very tolerant and supportive teaching staff, the group camaraderie that built up within our course team and the hilarious antics trying to learn double entry book keeping”.
Caroline said that College helped her to become more confident and “changed my mind about what I wanted to do and showcased lots of career possibilities. I was also able to make lots of new friends and gain my qualifications.”
